The key factors were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Outstanding natural space surrounding the College<\/li>\n<li>Minimum area of 65 acres<\/li>\n<li>Safe destination and site for the student population<\/li>\n<li>Seamless integration into the surrounding countryside<\/li>\n<li>Close to activity sites that add to the distinctive character of the location (ski resort, national park, hiking trails, golf, tennis, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Access to Lac Ouimet and Rivi\u00e8re du Diable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The superb mountainside setting of the College campus will be enhanced by the following characteristics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only 15% of total space will be devoted to the campus itself (buildings, sports and playgrounds, parking, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>85% of the site will be preserved in its natural state<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The high-quality infrastructure will be designed to blend in perfectly with the natural setting.
